Here follows an interview with the artists. It was made after the press release of Alfredo and friends - The comic strip.You are known to be real artists, is that really true?
Michael: Yes, it is as a matter of fact, we were born with pens in our hands. (Laughter)
Why do you think people like Alfredo and friends so much?
Carl: I think it´s the fact that they see themself in the caracters. It´s everyday life. Things that happen to all of us, we just point them out.
Why comic strips?
Michael: We need variation in our creative process. It is about not to get stuck, always keeping ways open.
Will you stop drawing longer chapters of Alfredo and friends chapter now?
Carl: Oh no, are you not paying attention? We want to work in all kinds of ways not to get stuck. What time is it Michael. Do we have time for this?
I´m sorry... Dont you ever run out of ideas?
Carl: Well, sometimes, but i usually look at my cats when i need inspiration, it helps every time.
Michael: I also look at his cats when i need inspiration. They are amazing.
